To make sure that you avoid getting too close during the initial hours as your eyes are sensitive and also avoid getting injured by baby’s hand movements. For this is it best to hold the baby very close or play with the baby with your face at a distance of more than baby’s arm length. Please do not avoid being near the baby, we definitely want you to continue being around as normal.
