- Slightly slower recovery of vision than patients who underwent LASIK/ Femto-LASIK
- Does not have a profile for Hyperopia (plus numbers) as yet
- Needs an experienced LASIK surgeon with excellent surgical skills for creation of a good lenticule
If however, during the smile process, even in the rarest of situations, there occurs some suction loss or issues in lenticule removal, the advantage is that one can always perform a surface ablation in the second phase to complete the primary treatment.
